If you usually have business trip around the world that require flying on the plane, you might be interested in saving some money with credit cards provided by the airlines. Southwest Airline credit card (or Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Plus Card) can be a good choice. Besides the convenience of fast payment, the user of Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Card is eligible to receive rewards points which help him save quite some good money on the ticket fare.
Benefits of Southwest Airlines Credit Card

Southwest Airlines Credit Card
Fee and rate
Having such nice rewards and points system, the Southwest Airline credit cards come with not so bad free and rate. The standard APR is 14.24%, balance transfer APR stays at 14.24 and cash advance is 19.24%. The penalty rate, based on my experience is not too high than the market standard. A penalty of 29.99% will be applied when you failed to make the minimum payment before the due date, when you exceed your credit card limit… There is one think most people don’t like when using this credit card is you have to pay fee annually (while most cards don’t have annual fee). The fee is $69, quite high for the market standard.
Generally, the Southwest Airlines credit card is not a bad choice for people who usually go on business trip. You can save quite good money by earning points when spending money on hotels, car rental centers (which are partners of Southwest Airlines). The rate is quite reasonable and if you pay the payment on time, you don’t have to worry about the penalty fee.
